It's a lovely scene. And it's shot with good DOF and nice density. Too bad about the clouds. I have the "blinkies" turned on in both of my cameras, and when I see them, I try taking the exposure down a bit. That helps with those high spots. If they're small, it's not so bad, but this one is petty big.
Thanks for the reply. Those washed out highlights have been cloned out now and you're right, it's much better.
Great shot. AFA your cloud "problem", in PS you can duplicate the layer, select the multiply blending mode on the copy layer, then erase back everything except the darkened cloud area. Or as mentioned earlier, clone stamp (being careful not to end up with clone lines). I think the sky is too nice as is to add another set of clouds, but that is a good way to fix a "bald" sky...I've done it many times. I am not familiar with the Affinity software.
Hey Ken, it’s a nice clean shot. I really like all the diagonal likes, especially in the background. They always make for an interesting image.
Affinity Photo is an alternative to Photoshop. However, the big difference is that Affinity is only $50! The desktop work space is similar as are most of the tools. Plus, there's a ton of tutorials available when purchased along with those on YouTube.
Photobum, This shot is more than pleasing. I like the subject, the composition and the rich colors.
