Too many chances for photo ops!
Lovely shots. Get them while they're still above the water line. The way things (climate change) are going now; it won't be long and Venice will be flooded half-way up the first (ground-level) floors.
Simply beautiful - incredible on double DL.
Very nice images! And those are some beautiful wooden boats too!

Well done -interesting shots. Curious: Where do they take their boats when they need to be worked on? Is there a 'dry' place for that?

Thanks for the many comments. Papa Joe, I have no idea! However, to the East of Venice on the mainland, there are any number of marinas. My guess is that they could take them there. On the other hand, I did see some of the operators doing small repairs and/or maintenance right there in their slips or moored to the docking areas right there in the various canals. Actually, if I had thought about it, that might have made for an interesting photo op! But we were literally there for only about 24 hours, so any chances to do some shooting were fleeting. Soooo...Obviously we have to go back!!!
