Ive seen some wide angle adapters on eBay for £10!has anyone else got one and are they any good?Ive got a Nikon D1300 and not alot of cash so the question is should I or should I not get one.
Any advice is welcome
P.s. I think they might be rubbish coz of the price but you never know!

Most of those are not worth the time it takes to screw them on.
Would definitely recommend saving up for a "real" wide-angle lens.

They are not worth buying. The distortion is so bad. If you happen to get one of the better ones (still worthless) you may get the center looking ok but as you get to the edges, it get really bad. Save your money.

I bought this, (but not at 10.£)
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200794123546?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 for my Nikkor DX 17-55 2.8
The only problem, the wide angle show the dark corners at full zoom out settings!

what is that saying--a latin one that means buyer beware
I have found out that you only get as good as you pay for when it comes to photographic equipment and agree that it is best to be that you wait and get a better quality adapter

I could not agree with Wahawk more. I made the mistake a few years ago until I saw the results and I threw it in the trash because thats where it belonged in the first place. Don't waste the money!!

I guess the general consensus is that they are junk, even with free shipping.

"Caveat emptor"

The further problem is that even some costly items are not very good. That's why asking here and reading reviews should be standard operating procedure.

Not sure if you were trying to shock me with those photos but you succeeded! That's pretty hideous what it does to the image quality!
