I went back to capture some more shots of the temporary ferris wheel. This time I decide to capture some at the entrance rather than from a distance. The three here were taken with a 16mm fisheye, so some portions will not be level, and the last on is an HDR.

#2 is my favorite but I like them all. Looks like you can have some fun with that lens.

A normal zoom wouldn't have conveyed the sense of the structure towering over the viewer.

You have made a little magic here, Dave, with your choice of lens. Fanciful and fun, totally appropriate for the subject, bright colors and motion blur. Love #3 in particular.

I'm indecisive on most and even the ones not shown. The lens can be a fun one to use from time to time, which doesn't seem to have the impact that I would expect with some images. I suppose good compositions choices would be in order for the best affect.

Absolutely, but I do like using this lens for experimental purposes, also I think that a 16mm wide angle is a good choice, depending on one's desire.

Motion blur was my main goal, but I thought I would experiment a little further by switching back and forth between the fisheye and the wide angle. I may go back for more experimentation, but I better hurry tho, they are suppose to dismantle the ferris wheel sometime in December.

Yea, I like #3 as well, but I'm not holding myself to it.
