Those turkey's are lucky to have you as a host! (Luckier than MY 18-pounder!)

Yes they are ELNikkor, and I enjoy them as much as they enjoy their meals

Gregory, Fakahatchee Strand is an ecological gem. I will have to put it on my bucket list when I go to the Everglades to photograph birds.

Makes me feel sorry for the turkey I'm about to eat. NOT! Nicely done, Greg.

It is PixelStan77, it is the wild orchid and bromeliad capital of North America, we are known as the Amazon of the North and the only place on earth that the Royal Palm and Bald Cypress share a canopy. We are home to the salt water croc, gator, black bear, deer, everglades mink and every bird you would see in Southwest Fl and them some. At 90,000 acres we are the largest State Wildlife Preserve in Fl. Let me know when you will be in the area and I will be happy to show you around the Fakahatchee and Big Cypress Swamp

Fed six in my backyard this morning (they like sunflower seeds and come running, lol). Always fun to see them in everyone's photos, enjoyed seeing them in yours. Happy Thanksgiving!
