When did your "possibility that this image is being passed around the internet w/o the permission or knowledge of the individual." become "this image is being passed around the internet w/o the permission or knowledge of the individual?" Where did you come by this "information"?

Why is a baboon's butt red?

First of all, the callous swellings on the ass of baboons gives them a good surface to sit on. The red ass of the baboon is also a swelling that occurs in females around ovulation, so when they are most fertile. With a redder and more swollen ass, the males can tell that a female is ready to reproduce.

Experiments have shown that when the ass is artificially made redder and more swollen than normally possible, the males are more attracted to it. If the females that have a redder ass get selected more often for reproduction, they will produce more offspring and the genes for a more swollen and red ass will be passed on in more individuals.

No. Try reading comprehension. I was pretty clear.

If you're slow, I'll try to speak slower for you. Hondo felt the need to be an ass to someone with whom he was in agreement. That's not at all what I was just doing. Clear now?
