We were just there in early August and will be going back next year as our youngest son & daughter in law live in Bozeman Montana... We told them that we will only visit them in the Summer months though...

Did you manage to get to "Old Faithful" and Grand Prismatic Springs"? With the busloads of tourists at each venue......My wife wanted to see those first. Since we only went the one day, there was lots we didn't see, but, then again, it is huge...

Excellent, I've been going to YNP since the 40's, if possible NEVER go during the summer to many tourists. Fall for the rutting Elk, spring for bears leaving their dens.
