Another Consideration when Buying a Printer

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I bought a new printer, an HP 2622 all-in-one. Since it was only $19.00 on a quickie sale on Amazon, I couldn't resist. It works fine, and the cost of replacement ink isn't bad.

One very slight negative - for me, at least - is the paper feed. The paper feeds into a slot at the top, rear of the printer. Ordinarily, this wouldn't matter, but I have this printer on a shelf below another printer, so there's no room for the paper to stand up. The shelf is on rollers, so I can just pull it out to use it, but you might want to consider where the paper goes when you buy a printer.

To take that a step farther, I bought a vehicle that wouldn’t fit into my garage until I moved the freezer. 😜😜

And now I have a rental that won’t fit. At least it’s just a rental.

When I was a kid, we lived in a house that was built in the 1930s, so the garage was pretty small. Our 1958 Oldsmobile wouldn't quite fit, so the garage door rested on the tail fins.

So there you go: get some tail fins for your new printer.

Maybe put the old printer below and the new on on top.

The printer on top is another HP all-in-one that prints on disks, so that stays where it is.

I have owned several HP printers over the years. When the last one died and I was looking for a new printer, my first requirement was, "anything but a Hewlett-Packard".

$19 for an HP printer? You overpaid!

Should have bought 2 -- for the ink!

Have you thought of putting the new printer on the upper shelf?

After reading previous replies - rotate the new printer 90 degrees.
