I love the way each feather's outline is distinct! What sharpness! And great poses and composition, too.

Outstanding!!!!Talk about tack sharp!!! Tell me more. Did you use a tripod, are they heavily cropped, did you do a lot of pp? Thanks again great pic's!!!!

I haven]t used a tripod in 7 years. The sharpness comes from the razor-sharp Canon 300 2.8 II lens and the Canon 50.6 mp 5Dsr camera. I don't use a lot of PP. They are all cropped.
Thank you very much, Mike.

I like #1, #2 and #3 the best. Sharp, detail, lighting, etc.

You live in a great area for photographing birds especially your eagles and ospreys.

Where in Idaho and what lake etc.?

Thanks!

Lake Coeur d' Alene, about 5 miles east of the City of Coeur d' Alene for the Bald Eagles between 11/15 to 1/15 each year. Hayden Lake, near Coeur d' Alene for the Osprey
between 8/20 to 9/10 each year. This is when the salmon are spawning in each area.
Thank you very much, Jeff.

I don't think I have ever commented on any of Your photo's before Regis, but it looks to Me like these photos are flawless! WOW! I have never seen more beautiful images of a Bald Eagle, or any where the Eagle looked more proud. Great captures, and thank You for posting.
