Switzerland, Germany, & Austria, Early Fall, 2018
Wonderful set, the colors are beautiful...
No, we made the trip with my son and his girl friend using rental cars and private apartments (Air BnB and VRBO). I really enjoy driving over there; good roads, good cars, and good drivers. Attached is the place where we stayed in Grainau, Germany, about two miles down the road from Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Our apartment had two bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, a breakfast nook, a large living room and two balconies, all for considerably less money than what two hotel rooms would have cost. I hope you get to reschedule your tour. Thank you for your comments.

Wonderful photos!
That's great. We were supposed to go to Heidelberg, Munich, Lucerne, Innsbruck and Salzberg. It sounds like you had a great experience.
Terrific images, piloto. Were you on a tour or were you "on your own"?
Good travel snapshots!
Question:
How did you send them? When I tried to download your first group, the images came in the same size, only.
Your Grainau image came the right way, so I was able to download it and also double click downloaded to make it larger.
Any idea what did you do with your first group?
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your comment. This was my first attempt at uploading photos to UHH, and I obviously must have done something wrong. I was disappointed to see that clicking on download didn't do much, and I'd appreciate any advice on how to correct the problem.

We got lucky with the weather.
Great scenery and love the sky color.
Great series. The first image really sets the tone for an excellent view of the region. We travelled there in the late 1960's and it appears little change has been made. Lovely country.
Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful photos. The first two bring back fond memories of Lauterbrunnen Valley. We stayed in the Village of Lauterbrunnen and could see Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau from our hotel. Beautiful!
We arrived mid-morning. Our hotel manager told us to drop our bags and rush to get on the train up to Jungfraujoch because the sky was still clear and you never can tell... It, too, was glorious!
The next day we took the funicular up to Grutschalp and walked to Murren. How Swiss - wonderful scenery, Swiss beer, and cows with bells around their necks.
Did you get to visit Trummelbach Falls?

Nice set.
Yes, we did get to Trummelbach Falls. They're truly spectacular, as is the entire Lauterbrunnen Valley. Thanks for your compliment.

Really beautiful! You didn't take these with your cell phone! -- just had to say that because my sister-in-law and her husband travel a lot in Europe, Russia, and the Middle East and she doesn't take photos! I couldn't do all that travel without a good camera! Once in a while she will take a shot with her cell phone, usually of a relative they visit or an iconic place like the Matterhorn!
Double and triple outstanding!!
