Apple Mojave operating system.

Just an update. After spending almost a solid week and a half on the phone with Apple technicians, and two days at the apple Genius Bar and getting absolutely nowhere, I went to a private apple dealer/repair store, and THEY went to the root of the program. Mojave was not comparable with my operating system and email carrier. They did a total number on my computer and wiped it clean and reinstalled High Sierra and now it is working like a champ!!! (And THEY guaranteed my comp would work.)
Just thought I would let everyone know.
Rich...
P. S. At the apple store, one of the genius's told me it was an "environmental" problem, but wouldn't or couldn't tell me what environmental meant.

Mojave is the operating system...so saying your OS isn’t compatible makes absolutely no sense. All recent Macs can run either it or High Sierra...and saying Mojave isn’t compatible with your email carrier also makes more sense.
You obviously have a problem somewhere... up I’m guessing Mojave ain’t it. HS might be working for you...but whatever compatibility issues you are having aren’t Mojave’s fault.

Darn silly answer. It was already shown by trial and error that Mojave didn't work correctly on that computer, but HS did. No new operating system is without bugs that need to be fixed.
I've been on the phone with Apple Care three times since I installed Mojave. First, I have a problem with YouTube. After watching a series of videos, the column on the right side of other video choices is grayed out, and the Like and Dislike buttons along with everything else under the video window are grayed out. No one can figure out how to fix it except for me having to get out of Safari and then get back in. Botheration. In addition, my Microsoft Outlook email service doesn't work quite right. The "Reply", "Delete", etc. buttons disappear after awhile. However, Yahoo is working fine, so am thinking about ditching Outlook altogether.
eta: I just want to add that all of my post processing software work fine, thank goodness!
Mojave is a relatively new OS, and it does indeed have some bugs....they all do for a while. My problem with Mojave not properly recognizing previously exFAT formatted drives, as Sierra did, is a genuine problem. But I’m sure Apple will eventually fix it (without ever admitting it, of course). So until then we use a work around. Good luck to all.
