Quoting Donald Trump. “Don’t forget both of my parents were born in EU sectors – my mother was Scotland, my father was Germany.”
Fred Trump, his father, was born in New York City.
Now, unless I missed something along the way, NYC is not an EU Sector, nor is it in Germany.
Again, to quote the Donald: “And I always want to tell the truth. When I can, I tell the truth. And sometimes it turns out to be where something happens that’s different or there’s a change, but I always like to be truthful.”
Now where is the disconnect here? When the man spent YEARS pushing falsehoods about his predecessors place of birth, he can't manage to tell the truth about where is father was born? Repeatedly? What happened here "that’s different or there’s a change"?
It's really not all that complicated, like something special he has to think to remember. Hell, they were BOTH born in NYC. That doesn't even stretch the brain cells that much like other people that need to recall 2 different places between where they and their father was born.
This is the kind of simple, basic, personal fact where getting it wrong raises clinical questions of cognitive function. Not uncommon in someone 72 years old, but readily understandable in someone with a decades long history as a pathological liar. He really doesn't know the truth from a lie, nor right from wrong.
The lies just roll glibly from his tongue.

Geee...... Didn't he also say that "when I landed in a flurry of gunfire...", or "there was no confidential information on my server...", or "you didn't build that....", or "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor...", or "the arctic icecaps will be completely melted by the year 2000...", or ....
'The Donald' is not particularly articulate (intentional understatement), but he is also not a politician, and he is doing what he said he would do when he ran for office. This, IMHO, is FAR more honest than the majority of others who run on promises and then do whatever they please afterward. Our president was elected BECAUSE the majority of Americans, as voiced through our electoral college, agreed with/supported what he was saying and wanting to do....and frankly the majority of Americans were/are tired of the way the country was headed. We all have our faults and strengths. Trumps strength is his unwavering and "headstrong" leadership.
A leopard does not change its spots. We got exactly what we voted for....Trump has not changed. I for one, support the "Make America Great Again" mantra, which our previous first family trampled and defiled around the globe. I personally believe we should enforce our current laws....closed borders, lawful immigration policy, etc. Only a fool would gripe about the current strong health of the American economy, the incredibly high employment rate, that "Kim" is no longer launching missiles, that more favorable trade agreements are being negotiated, and that two "Constitutionalists" have been appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court. I am personally relieved that there is no more burning of cars, looting, and rioting in the streets, and anti-cop sentiments which seemed to be supported by our previous administration. I for one am glad that Trump is spending more time on bigger issues, rather than on gender/bathroom use, radical/fringe/exaggerated racial issues (Black Lives Matter), disrespect for American tradition and the American flag, etc. Change is hard on many people. I embrace and support this change.
True journalism is dead amongst many American news outlets. It is difficult/impossible to find a source of unbiased news in the U. S. The spin doctors and hacks spew their slanted words and bias at us from all directions. And, when the majority of the media and Hollywood, the major mouthpieces in our society, tend to have a strong liberal bias....a strong Conservative like Trump has little chance to be successful. I personally think that Trump has overcome incredible continual pressure and has accomplished much of what America wanted done.
It's unfortunate that there are those who would ruminate on picking apart our leader's words, rather than celebrate and support his many positive deeds. And, "I'll take all this abuse without taking a salary".....said no politician ever before.
