A old barn in a field and my edit, what do y'all think...
Love the close up crop :)
The sky looks a lot more dramatic in your edit than in the original, BUT... so does the old building! I LOVE the artistic quality of your edited version for that reason!
In the end, it's all a matter of what you're trying to get across here... true-to-form photography as close to what you actually see as possible (because we ALL know the camera cannot capture exactly what the human eye sees)... or, something else entirely uniquely yours?
I like them both and would have stopped for the shot myself :)
Love the photo, would love to know what method you used to get that look. I'm new to editing.

You're welcome and it's always a very nice surprise to see what you've photographed today, too!

Thank you ...I used Photomatix..just a little..didn't want to blow it out..I bracketed my shots then put them all together...I've only had a camera for about 8 months so I'm still new

I'm all over the place....don't know if I could shot just one aspect of photography..
Love the edited version. Can you fix the sky?
Sometimes when I get tired of working and something and quit, if I'd just keep on for a little while longer, I master it...

Thank you Mary...I don't have anything in the sky to play around with..this was the only day there wasn't a cloud or something up in the sky...
I like the edit. Wonder what this would look like as a canvas mount done 30x40? Am thinking it would be stunning.
