Just returned from a week in Haines Alaska on the Chilkat River and Bald Eagle Preserve. Thousands of eagles congregating along the river feasting on chum salmon. All images were with a Canon 5D4, Sigma 150-600 Sport, ISO 1000-1600, SS 1/1000, and distances ranged from 100 yards to 25 yards.
Looks like a peaceful day in AK. Use the download and check out the smack down in the lower right hand corner.

Now for the fish. The eagle on the bottom got up and chased the offender off.

This is an excellent set! I hope folks take the time to view these in download. You made great use of your time in Eagle land!
Phil.
Jim. Nice job. Loved them all!
Wow! All those eagles! Nice action set!

Fantastic set. I can't believe that gull staying in the midst of the eagles. At my eagle spot (maybe 6 of them tops) the gulls take flight and avoid the eagle(s) as soon as they come into sight. Gary
Excellent set, Jim and if the viewers think they are great in a download, please try double-clicking each one!!
Thanks Phil, we had a great time with another hogger.
Thanks linelink, we enjoy sharing our images.
Thanks for looking and double clicking to enjoy the details. A few of the eagles were skittish but most just didn't seem to mind humans right below the tree they perched in. Just don't set up behind the eagle.
