I go to a lot of culturally themed festivals in the greater Seattle area. There are many of them throughout the year and they are all free. These images were taken at this year's Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) festival at the Seattle Center a couple weeks ago. The Aztec dancers shown here are known as Tloke Nahuake and they are dynamic performers. I hope you enjoy these images. Thanks in advance for taking a look. These shots were all taken with a Tamron 70x200 f/2.8 G2 lens mounted on a Nikon D500.

These are awesome. Can you tell me more about your settings, did you use a flash? Thanks.
Thank you Wags. I'd be happy to tell you. I went back and looked and the settings didn't vary much from one image to the next. All the photos come from RAW images shot in manual mode, shutter speed 1/500, Aperture between f/3.5 and f/4, ISO between 1600 and 2000 (it was pretty challenging indoor lighting), no flash, handheld, VC was set to 1. I use Photoshop CC to do my post processing. A reminder, I used a Nikon D500 with a Tamron 70x200MM, f/2.8 G2 lens. I bought that lens specifically for this type photography. If I had it to do all over again (and I probably will next year), I would test upping the shutter speed to 1/640 and compensate with an aperture or ISO adjustment.

Thanks for the info. I shoot with the D7200 but I am seriously considering the D500, and will be watching the Black Friday sales.
