Shots that show personality are always more fun than the static poses we most often see. Nice work!

I actually prefer these kinds of shots. They seem to have more life to them if that's possible. All they need now is one of your stories about how a dark lady turned these dogs into vicious ankle nippers.

Love the raspberry. Have one of one of my dogs sticking her tongue out. It's one of my very favorites. Neat shots.

I am glad that you didn't delete them Vicki. I got a laugh. After all, we don't love dogs because they are pretty.

If you found these shots amusing, then I succeeded. Thanks for the visit and for taking time to comment Jan. I'm most grateful.

These are GREAT shot, Vicki. When I used to do this, I found that some owners actually liked the shots showing character as much as or better than the standard portrait shots. Don't be afraid to show them!

Thanks for validating this effort Kathy. It's good to get feedback on these shots, and you're making me seriously consider sending them to the owners.

Your thoughtful reply is appreciated Doxnphoto. It's helpful to know you were amused by these since I had reservations about posting them.

They're great. The last one looks like the dog just got out of bed!

These are from the pet portrait effort the other day. They're probably not shots the owners will print, but I thought they were more interesting than the more traditional versions and maybe give someone a laugh or two.

It's like my pet and people photos - the ones I treasure show personality. The posed ones are nice but I prefer the kind you have here. If I were the client I'd order all if them.

Nicely done. You never know when an outtake is going to be the one you really like.

Thanks for the visit and comments DebAnn. The ears, as you might expect, were constantly changing with each new distraction.

I agree. Some of my favorite photos of my pets and family members are the candid shots. Family members often don't agree with my choices, but that's to be expected and also one of the reasons I hate being in front of the camera.

Thanks for taking time to look and comment BlueMorel. I'm most grateful.

Thanks for taking time to comment on these Mister H. It pays to keep the shots until you've really had a chance to review them.
