Thank you Roadrunner for the Street Photography Challenge! Everyone seemed to enjoy it! Lots of posts to go through!
The challenge for Nov 1 - 3 is In Camera Abstract. This just means that you need to take pictures of abstract objects. You cannot make them up with a program. You can do the regular editing for a photo but not change the structure of the subject except to crop or rotate it. The idea is to make you really see at what you are looking at. There are all kinds of ways to create abstracts. It could be getting in close to a normal item and just making a composition from part of it. Or taking a picture of the object and then zooming in on the image and finding areas to crop that make another abstract composition. You can also zoom your lens while taking your picture, or moving your body towards an object. Tilt your camera or move it in any direction. These all make abstracts and are easy! I often take pictures of smoke or food coloring dropped into a clear glass and photographing them as they move down through the water. It is amazing what you "see" when looking at the photo. There are so many items, in the house and outside so pick up those cameras and go see what you can see!
If you have a technique that works well for you, please let us know. It is always fun to try out new techniques.

Similar idea as above, but zoomed in more, so it didn't give a circle.

Just a few more. These where landscapes. So you don't need to always get up close to get an abstract.
Couple shots. Great challenge!
Thanks,
