Looks to me like a Morris Minor.
Definitely a Morris Minor and the grille says 1954. My first British car was a 1955 MM convertible with right-hand drive. Could reach 60 in an average morning if all down hill but still fun.
Cool set like the rust spend 6 months in wester north carolina

1952 or later, that was the first of what we called the high light models. That looks to me to be about 1952. My first car was a 1952, 802cc flathead engine. Not recommended for climbing hills and we have plenty of those in New Zealand.
