Great set.
Did you go up to the observation deck in the Penobscot Narrows Bridge?
Thanks Longshadow. No we didn’t go up, we were a little pushed for time to make a connection so we missed that view. I bet it’s quite an overlook!

Thanks traderjohn. Yes Portland Ole Town shot with my iPhone.
Great shots. Where did you shoot that West Quoddy Head Lighthouse from?

I liked the stony beach, lighthouse, stone bridge the most.

Thanks a Dennis. We chartered a Cessna from Trenton “Scenic Flights of Acadia” for a little over 2 hours. Flew over 13 or 14 lighthouses from MDI to Lubec. We saw shoreline and islands we wouldn’t have had time to see otherwise. Our pilot used his cell phone for flight path info and a fold out road map to locate lighthouses once we were north of familiar territory for him. You should have seen Jan’s face the first time he unfolded the map across the windshield. He let her take the controls a few times, and she was glad to do it!

Very nice series! Almost makes me homesick ("almost" because winter is steamrolling in now!)
Looks like a great trip, "Snappy". Portland Head Light is a tad dark, but I bet you could bring-out the sunlight on the column if you brightened it just a bit. I like what you did with the Visitor Center in Sommesville.
