I'm always drawn to these scenes in a melancholy sort of way. From a drive in Idaho last week looking for migrating raptors.

I've lived in Idaho for over forty years. What a great place with endless photo opportunities. Where were these pictures taken?

My favorite topic. Love old dilapated buildings especially barns. The stories these buildings could tell.

I love these old places. I would so like to know about the people whose dreams they were - why they were there, what their lives were like and why they have stood empty for so long.

Yes, I used to do metal detecting and would look for old structures like this. Found lots of nails, bottle caps and wire!!

Lieb, these were taken just south of Malad, Idaho in the Malad Valley. You are spot on with your take on Idaho...it is a beautiful state for photo ops. Thanks for looking and commenting.
