I love these old places. I would so like to know about the people whose dreams they were - why they were there, what their lives were like and why they have stood empty for so long.

Yes, I used to do metal detecting and would look for old structures like this. Found lots of nails, bottle caps and wire!!

Lieb, these were taken just south of Malad, Idaho in the Malad Valley. You are spot on with your take on Idaho...it is a beautiful state for photo ops. Thanks for looking and commenting.
