Golden Hour giveth and taketh away

I stalked this juvenile GBH for about 35 minutes to get close. By the time I got close enough (about 35 yards) the light was perfect "golden hour" exactly 1 hour before sunset. I was using my "highlight blinkies" to check for proper exposure and as I shot, was able to adjust my exposure compensation. Continued my stalk and, upon post editing found that the "golden light" was a blessing right up until my subject decided to take flight...DIRECTLY into the sun. Following are some results (they are SIGNIFICANTLY better downloaded!!):

Great in flight action. This image is where possibly the highlights could have been recovered from processing a RAW version. BIF lust is a gateway to gear and processing ... This and the first paid off for the stalking effort.

Wow, great set. Love them all but the second one with the wing tip just touching the water I think is awesome.
