Last week, we visited Yakima, Washington not far from where I grew up. Although we'd made the drive between Yakima and Portland at least 100 times, I never stopped to take pictures of the Yakima Reservation horses before. Access is extremely limited unless you're a tribal member but fortunately, there were a couple of small bands near the river.
Autumn weather is in full swing in Portland, resulting in morning fog and gorgeous color in the afternoons. Your comments and suggestions are much appreciated.
These are wonderful! My only suggestion: Post more of your photos.

Thank YOU. I didn't know I had an admirer out there and it's good to hear. Truly, these are fine images.
You did a masterful job of capturing two of my greatest loves - clean, flowing mountain rivers and a powerful, majestic brute of a horse. These were most wonderful
Great shots. I too, grew up near Yakima and had friends on the reservation. I'm glad to see that the horses are still there. The one in your shot seems to me to represent a time I thought was long gone. I'm thrilled to see that the res is still an experience rather than
just a place. It has been over 65 years since my last visit which included rounding up horses. The flood of memories brought up by your beautiful pictures have moved me greatly.
Beautiful, love the horse!
