I am in the process of assembling a list of sites such as UGH,lensperstion, and even the sites of all the major camera manufacturers. They have some pretty good tutorials from their ambassadors. Once I get the list finished, they will have photo info overload.

I would suggest that you go back and break this into paragraphs, with a space between each. And add a space after each period and comma.

I was just about to suggest the same thing. Text blocks like that are so hard to read, I usually don't even try.

Positively affecting the life of another person, especially a child, is one of the best legacies you can leave. Heartwarming to read.

Yes sir,

Good for you!
Anyone who takes the time to help a young person with some new way of thinking is doing a beautiful thing. I mentor two boys in the 7th grade. Had them last year also and have seen a change in them both. The reward is when you see or hear about them making better decisions and being a better young person.

Wonder story and idea. Helping our kids do something productive is wonderful. God will repay you, although I can read the joy in your narrative, so it’s paying you already!

Keep helping, it’s awesome!

Kudos! May I comment to include one step further from the intrinsic value they and you receive of your gift is that someday some of them may do the same for another young person.
Your gift really is a living legacy! Thank you for sharing! And, may we learn to share more from your example!

Don't redo a thing!!! What you are doing is beyond fabulous and generous and if you get called on grammatical baloney that person is very narrow minded.

You are doing much more than teaching photography. You are providing an interest in something good which will keep the kids out of trouble, providing them with socialization skills, being a role model, and probably giving them something positive to talk about that improves their relationship with their parents and others.
You are getting a lot for your money. And while it isn’t just spare change, you are getting a lot for your money, too. Think of the cost of dinner and a movie and how that is gone by bedtime, vs. the way this investment feels good to you and has changed your life because you are helping others. And you and your wife will benefit if you need help because you are building beautiful friendships and a network that will support you as you age. You will never be one of those old folks who sit in a nursing home without having visitors!!

Great work! One of the most inspiring posts I have ever read on here - there's nothing more important than helping the kids along in life - alone that an adult who is not "required " to - parent, teachers, etc = shows so much interest in a young person can make all the difference!
