I had the good fortune to be able to visit Great Zimbabwe in 1996. The flowers were in the garden of my hotel, the rest at the ruins. Notice people in the third and fourth pictures to give a sense of scale.

Here's the Ring of Brodgar, a Neolithic stone circle from about 2,500 BC - 340' in diameter, it originally consisted of 60 stones, but only 27 remain. We watched the young lady in the third picture as she went around the circle touching each stone as she went, then she stood in the centre with her arms upraised to the sky! She was either a druid wannabe or had read "Outlander" too many times!

Great shots!

This has been a great adventure. We've seen some really great photos from around the world. I applaud everyone who took the time to share their adventures with us.

Here's one more rock I'll share. It's a man made rock/concrete wall that I'm glad is gone.

Uluru also known as Ayers Rock in Australia.

Looks like God just plopped a nig rock in the middle of nowhere - or else it's the back of a half buried elephant or hippo. Sure is pretty at sunrise, Harry.

They just don't make them like they used to - and the artisans are becoming more scarce all the time.
