And when she blew, she threw large (house-sized) boulders as far as Kansas. Glad she's not active right now. They (the volcanologists) say she's sleeping.
Interesting. It no longer looks like a caldera due erosion and colonization by vegetation. It is amazing what geologists can figure out!

I was also there in June during the drought and there were elk everywhere. Last week there were bluebirds everywhere, it no elk.
