I spent the day yesterday at a couple of my favorite locations trying out Nikon's newest camera. I wanted to see how well it performed. Here is a video highlighting my experiences with the camera.
Well done for a great review, I hardly ever shoot video and am not ready to go mirror-less yet perhaps in the future when there have been several versions out from Nikon and more native glass I will attempt it and purchase one.

Thanks so much and good idea! That is what I would suggest.

When using an F-mount lens with the FTZ adapter, does the 47mm F-mount opening have any adverse effect when using the F-mount lens versus using one of the new S-series lenses?

A simple answer is, no. Which lenses in particular are you concerned about? Older D aka "screw drive", will not auto focus.

I only have newer lenses, no old D screw drive. My thinking is using a F lens which has the 47mm opening vs the new S series lenses, would that have any affect on light transmission to the sensor? Not sure I am asking or wording my question correctly or not.

From every report I've read or watched, there is no F mount lens degradation when using the adapter.

Okay, good to know. I have watched quite a few videos, and seem to remember one that said the F mount lenses didn't work quite as well, but don't remember whose it was now. Most all have said they worked well with no problems.

LOL probably better than on a DSLR because of the added IBIS

I didn't' notice anything but it would be hard to tell. I didn't shoot with the native lens at all. I did play around with the native lens at home and the one thing I noticed was how quiet it is. You can't hear it focusing at all. Just a very faint high pitched noise if you rest your ear on the lens.
