A recent cycling vacation in France brought me to some beautiful backroads and country scenes.
The first is a tiny village on top of an escarpment in the Maritime Alps.
In the second I was in a church and a beam of light came through a stain glass window and lit up this statue of Joan of Arc.
Lovely country to visit... especially by bike I think..Roads are narrow, very well maintained and lightly traveled.
Last is a young girl and her reluctant dog going for a walk with Grandma.
steve49 I love 'em! I agree it's a great country to visit. Especially the rural areas away from the general tourist routes.
Great treatment of the opportunities.
They're great photos. The photo of the statue of Joan of Arc is outstanding.
Nice photos. Very scenic area.
Excellent work. I envy #3. Perfectly timed shot.
