Obsessed as I am with nature's handiwork in stone. Nice group of Mom's original works

Craftsmen and artisans of old are hard to come by these days. Beautiful captures, Pat.

Keep figuring, it's a fun one.

Durham Cathedral's ancient cloisters doubled as a film location for Hogwarts in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone back in 2001.
Have you ever wondered if someone thousand of years ago thought about what people would say or think after they made a pile of rocks stick up in the air?
The Midwest was at one time the bottom of a sea which produced a lot of fossil rocks like this. This one is about 200 pounds.

Nice set Karen. Interested in the old foundation and bridge. Any history attached to them?

Nice set. I can tell you that the viewpoint is NOT from my backyard.
