Nice. Well done. That's a keeper!
Nice shot John.
I'm sure Tracy will be very happy with a print of it.
Love it! Beautiful model and pup. I’m a huge fan of informal shots. Sometimes posses portraits make people look stiff . Great job
Very nice! I think I might agree with the idea of putting one knee on the ground, mainly because at my age, maintaining her pose would be impossible! I’d be proud of the shot!
i like the photo. Kids and pets, tough to get them to stay still and look at the camera LOL. I would be inclined to reduce the vignette a bit.....
Thanks for sharing.

Nicely done, John. Would be better with the dog facing the camera but all in all, very nice.

I may be too picky but... in looking at the photo in download the first thing I saw was that the right knee was sharper than the right shoulder. Actually the right knee and the dogs nose are the sharpest and from there back it starts fading. Not knowing specifics of settings but my guess might be to use a higher number aperture so the focal length can bring more into focus.
From a layman who has never tried to take a portrait.
I like your picture.
I would like to better see her eyes.
The end of the mowed grass/start of other vegetation is distracting/distracted me.
I am having negative thoughts about starting my portraits by offering to take one of my neighbors family; they have 12 children. I'll probably take Foghorn Leghorn's advice and "start with a little one". I need to follow John Osteen's (Joel Osteen's dad) advice, as you did, which was "Do something, lest you do nothing".
Good start. Thanks for sharing.
