There are similarities, Ron, but the Pacific Pea is western and the mystery plant is in the Caribbean, plus there's just one bloom per stalk and those horizontal pods are a hoot... Instead, it appears to be, "Rattleweed" (crotalaria Retusa), an invasive and not very nice plant. Never seen it before... and don't like it much... dang sure won't eat it- though, apparently some folks do...

Nice shot, but if you really want to see a picture of a wild pee, I'll send you shot of me in a crowded brewery. Getting old beats the alternative, but it ain't pretty.

Yep, you're correct. Think I will give my cell phone one last chance to correctly identify a plant . . . if it fails I will get a new "APP"
