I've been reading about this and it seems to good to be. Has anybody had any contact with it or know about it? It a program on a USB drive that looks for and reads all your files to find only photo/videos files and then download them after it gets rid of and delete duplicates. They say that it is revolutionizing the way people store and backup their precious photos and home videos.

It uses very special technology that automatically hunts through everything on your computer. It finds every personal photo and video, and then places them all in organized folders on the Stick.

Well if anybody know about this, please share. I hope this is the correct location to post this.

Probably a handy aid for some people.
(I know where all of my photos are located and no duplicates are in another place.)
As for "revolutionizing", a sales tagline in my opinion, for people who are not into files and stuff on a computer.
No "special" technology, probably just a batch file.

For those who either cannot or just don't want to hunt their photos and videos down it works fine. It's a good backup for your images and videos and you don't have to expend any thought...just plug in, push one button and remove.

I'm not a computer noob but for my wife who is, it was a good buy.

128 gb, well that's nice. Heck my SD card on my camera is 128gb. Unless that thing had 8 to 10 TB it would be no use to me. Imagine if you had a Nikon D850 with a 50 megapixel sensor. Wouldn't be long before you ran out of space. Would be useful for the average family with point and shoot or phone photos... It is probably the market they are targeting.

I think that they are targeting the phone market; phone pics. It cleaned my wifes phone out with lots of room to spare and she had at least 1000 or more pictures there.

Well, I was hoping for someone to say that the program(operating) could be transferred to another larger flash drive, therefore making it more useful. I know it states that you can down load the new file and load more but that just one more step to have problems with. Thanks for the replies

You don't need a special program to transfer images. You don't need a special program to find your images.

It strikes me as a hustle. Did you see the prices?

It's not a hustle, it serves a purpose; those who don't want to, or cannot go and do the tech work necessary to find their images, cull them, and then back them up find the stick useful; my wife being one of them.

I had the choice to dig through her phone's 1000 images and decide what's what and what can or should be saved and then spend the time doing it OR...spend 75.00 and in 20 seconds...she did it herself and was very happy.

I was glad to spend that cash for that outcome.

Thanks. I don't understand how it helps decide what's what and what can or should be saved. Why would finding images be tech work? (Not being argumentative, I may be missing something here.)

It is a flash drive (a very expensive flash drive) and program that searches for and transfers images, yes?

Well it seems I've open a can of ???? I don't think the program within make a decision as to which to keep or get ride of. It finds ALL photos & videos then places them into 1 One single file. Yes I'm aware that with a little effort we can do the same thing, but this is suppose to share time, at least that is how I see it. I know that over the years I've made the mistake of backing up to many different places, my error. This says it fined and put them together in 1 file and I wanted to know if anybody had tried it.

There is probably a batch/executable file on it that looks for .JPEG, .JPG, TIFF, MOV, etc. files in the root and all sub-directories and copies them.

Not "tech" work, but one does have to understand files, directories, and copying them to most efficiently accomplish the task. Some computers are probably set to not display file extensions, which I do not like.

It places them into ONE SINGLE FILE? I'd not buy it then.
On one single USB drive maybe...

I do not Know that, I assumed and we all know what that makes. Looking for information. I'm no longer a computer expert, I've forgotten more than I wish to admit. Looking for the easy way out.

Thanks.

It doesn't come much easier than opening Windows explorer, performing a search, and dragging and dropping files anywhere you like. There are plenty-of plug and play storage options for backing up files.

Learning what files, folders, and executable are on a computer takes no time nor any great technical skill, and it is essential. I see it as analogous to learning what the brake, steering, wheel, and accelerator are on a car, and no more difficult.
