Went out to the "hill country" in Texas this past Saturday in search of my favorite subject to photograph: Water falls! Well, I doubt I will find any big falls but what I found I enjoyed photographing. Let me know what you think of these.

I really like the third one...very peaceful and tranquil. I think I'm becoming somewhat jaded to the long-shutterspeed waterfalls. I'm ready to see some different-looking water. Please don't take that personally! Your waterfalls a very nice!

I used a ND4 filter and slowed the shutter speed to 1 second. That is what permits the water to appear like mist/fog.

Canon 7D
Tamron 70-200 f/2.8
ISO 100
ND4 filter
1 second Shutter speed

Very nice. I like all three of these images. It took me a moment or two, to realize that the first two are the same, one close up and the other a wider view. Pedernales Falls is a very interesting looking area. Could this be a place to set up and wait, for local critters to come for water?

Beautiful series! Great HDR work. A bit of haloing of trees against the sky in the 3rd picture.
