Oh happy day the little brown truck just delivered my Z7 yesterday , I only had a few minutes to shoot and the initial response is amazing , I found what you see in the screen is what you get , it’s so easy to adjust in the frame before shooting , and wow what great results , I got the package from Adorama with the 24-70 F4 and the adapter since I normally shoot with a D850 and D810. I will add some photos this week and hope others that go for Nikon are as amazaed as I am . Thanks the race is on with cannon ,Sony, fugi , Olympus all now in the race , I chose the Nikon because all my other lens will work, so I am in the mirrorless world now
Too bad you didn't have a BIG brown truck experience. People here love them.
Seriously, congrats on the new camera. Looking forward to seeing the images.

Precisely this past Friday a Nikon representative was at our local camera store demonstrating the new mirrorless cameras from Nikon. I believe He also sponsored a hand on event with the new cameras and that usually implies having models to shoot with the new gear.
Congratulations and good luck with your new camera. Post some images.

Enjoy
Inner teacher coming out, it is a Z7, not S7 - just a typo and not real important in this case but... If I take my glasses off an S and a Z can both blur into a blob.

Yeah, I've noticed. The BIG truck is for delivering the BIG DSLRs. My micro four thirds cameras came on a little USPS Jeep.
What impresses me is that you are impressed with it, though you are already shooting with the D810 and D850; it must really be an awesome camera; congratulations on your newest purchase! After a week or two of putting it through its paces, be sure and share some of your photos and observations.

Very impressive. An 810, 850, and now an S, I mean Z, 7.
Wow!

That's a mirrorless camera, so it's smaller - no need for the Big truck.
Welcome to the mirrorless world!

Congratulations on your Z7 purchase. Let us know how the adapter works and how it effects your older Nikon lenses if at all.
Please post some images. At different focal lengths .
Didn’t know Nikon had a S7 is different than the Z7?

I've had my Z7 for a month. My only disappointment is that I haven't been able to use it on a tripod because Kirk and RRS haven't finished development on the Swiss Area mount plate and L-bracket. Most of the available plates from other sources interfere with the F-lens adapter.
