Heading home I thought I saw something move on the other side of the pond & took a quick shot in the general area. I didn't know if anything was there was until I enlarged it.
A well camouflaged Wilsons Snipe I believe. DDL recommended.

Years ago I heard about Snipe hunts & never realized then, that there actually were Snipe (s?). Now I see why they are so hard to find.
