The horses like to hang out around Butcher Jones Beach area and hills, they come down in the evening out of hills to lake to get water and then will head back.

They have fixed the fences to Butcher Jones now so the horses can't get down to the beach! They had 4 dogs killed which I blame on the dog owners not the horses!

I grew up in Globe and Roosevelt, AZ. I have fished the salt river and Roosevelt Lake many times. I have family in Phoenix and still visit Globe often. I have never, ever seen a Bald Eagle in that area and I pass right through Mesa to get to Globe. Great capture.
When I retire in a couple of years I do plan to move back home. I will be more aware of my surroundings for sure.

This pair land in the same area almost every day! There is another pair that are a couple of miles up river too! I have only been able to catch one of that pair so far!
