Thanks Jerry. Good information. I truly hate the Automatic feature of Windows Update in Windows 10.
Thanks for the info. It included a great link to how to backup your personal data using Windows 10 File History feature.

Yeah, I heard of this yesterday and almost immediately did image backups of all our computers plus file backups, as well. It’s the old better safe than sorry adage.
Think of the poor folks who were the guinea pigs for the ongoing screw ups for Windows 10 updates.

For those that might not be aware, you can still do a "Windows 7" full image backup in Windows 10 backup page also. Connect a drive. Go to "Settings," then "Update & Security," then "Backup" from the left hand side. You'll see "Looking for an older backup?" Select the link below "Go to Backup and Restore (Windows 7). Go from there.....
I saw that on How-to-Geek. Maybe MS got it fixed. When I shutdown my Dell desktop computer last night it said "installing update and shutting down", or something similar.
I'll have to fire it up and see what's missing.
Update:
I just fired up my Dell desktop computer. Doesn't look like anything is missing.

I has now been re-released. I downloaded the original release without any problems, it’s a bit underwhelming.
Sat down at my PC this morning and the update had been applied - automatic. Everything is as it should be and nothing is missing.
