I looked out yesterday and saw this turkey on our deck railing. Really surprised. We know she lives in our back yard a lot, but I had never seen her up on the deck railing. I luckily had a camera close by. She actually spent quite a bit of time and went from one side to the other. Took several shots of this bird through the door window.

I have dozens (different sizes, ages, genders) living on my property in western NC. Ever heard on land on your roof? Or peck at it's reflection in the shiny paint/chrome of your vehicle? Interesting birds.
