Silver Lake is in a boxed canyon, used for camping in the summer and skiing in the winter, depending on the time of year, weather conditions and atmosphere, the picture is true to the color values at that lake. The lake isn't that large and not that deep, more like a large pond, the image is perfect for that particular lake. Also lighting changes because of the landscape and setting sun or rising sun.

I've taken many photos of canoes from that very spot, but none of mine turned out as beautiful as yours. That is a great place and your colors are true.
