Hello everyone. I'd like to introduce myself.
I've been shooting since I developed my first roll of B&W film in 1975. So, I can hardly believe how much photography has evolved over the years. A few months ago, I finally upgraded all my camera gear. I'm trying to motivate myself to shoot again since the loss of my 21 year old daughter, my beloved companion and fellow photographer, to cancer on May 15, 2016. I value friends, especially those who share similar interests. In the future, I look forward to participating in this site's forums, sharing my photos and learning more from you.
Welcome. Please share your photographic experiences.
Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your loss. You can find some good friends good info and a handfull of trolls here.

Sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you as no parent should bury a child.
Photography is a wonderful way of your inner desire to express yourself through your images. Feel free to Private Message me with any questions you may have.
What a heart-breaking loss you’ve endured, and are still enduring. I’m happy for you that you’ve decided to rekindle your photography, and become motivated once again.
Many of us started many years ago in film, and have evolved into digital. Should you want/need any information about cameras/editing/lenses, etc., this is the place to be.
Welcome, and I hope you’ll share your photos with us, and eventually your knowledge.
Photography helped me so much when I lost my 27 year old son over 9 years ago in a swimming accident. After getting on this site I've gotten interested in macro. Check the sub divisions (all sections) at the bottom of the page to see what you might be interested in. I'm looking forward to seeing your shots.
