Its a battery powered monolight with a Bowens accessory mount that gets 450 full power flashes- (much more at lower power)
The LED modeling light isn't much more than a focusing aid, so don't expect much in that area.

Thanks for the heads up. Typical for me, when I have the money, there are no deals to be found, when I'm broke, they are everywhere.
Since I don't use TTL, the manual one would have been perfect. Maybe some money will drop in my lap soon.... haha

One of my 25 year old Bowens monolights crapped out on me a few weeks ago. Had to get something- I’ve been doing more location photography lately where there are no outlets. The speedlight/AD 200 combo had worked so far, but I wanted more power. This deal popped up a few days ago on an off camera lighting FB page I follow. Mine comes the day before my next shoot.

UPS arrived.
It's charging now -battery was at 1/2 power already.
LED is brighter than I expected.
Plasticy, but feels like the good kind.
Have an outdoor shoot tomorrow but it's supposed to be windy- may just use my AD 200.
Did not come with the transmitter I ordered- in another shipment also due today- seems like they would have packed them together.....
