Not likely. There is more than one pixel in each spot and they don't recur on later photos.

Since the spot on the vest of the man walking in back of the audience is the same size as all the ones on the stage, I would guess something on the camera.

MY very first thought given that it occurs only in one or two photos is that it was a flying insect between the subject matter in which the camera was focused, and the camera, far enough from the subject to be out of focus.

Do the sensor test
Clean the sensor
Test again

That much you can control and eliminate from the question. Likely itโ€™s just an OOF UFO

I recently posted this image over at Street Photography and then noticed several white dots on it when viewed in the download. At first I thought it was a dirty sensor, but then examined shots taken immediately before and after this one and no dots were to be found. Any ideas what could have caused them?

Thanks in advance!

That's a guy with a beard wearing a dress made out of a
horse blanket and gym socks.

As for what caused it: must have been some trauma in early
childhood.

See where the shadows fall? You were shooting in the direction of the sun. Looks like the sun is lighting up dust on/in your lens. Were you using a lens hood?
....Or it could be someone put bubble solution into the bagpipes.

Something in the air... not sensor. If it rad on sensor, they would not be white. But some shade of black, from light gray to dark gray.. and woods be in all photos on the same spot.

The bright spots could be hot pixels. They sure don't look like dust to me.

I think it's a sign from God, of his next coming. I'd edit them out & forget about it.
I had 3 little dark spots for a while but that was on the lens or mirror. A service fixed it.

Had those dark spots too. Still have them. They are in every picture. They are even on the screen I am looking at right now. My Ophthalmologist calls them floaters.

It might be the relections of the sun or lights off of some instrument.
