She sure is polished up. Looks like a lot of TLC invested in her. Definitely a beautiful set of photos. I liked the close up of the running gear. The number of rivets in the tender is amazing. They were built for rugged use that us for sure.
Jack, from one "railroad guy"( who's shot his share of trains) to another. These are fabulous! My only regret is not having been there next to you to hear it, feel it and experience it.
I love old steam locomotives, they have class and style and they take me back to better times.
Good shots...the last one is the one I like best.

Don't know what shutter speed you used on the wheels, but it was perfect. Fast enough to see detail yet just the slightest amount of blur to indicate they were haulin' ...! Every photo in the set is great.
