We drove through there many years ago after Husband finished up his AF enlistment and even thought of settling in a place called Rattlesnake Canyon near Missoula.

Thanks for the "thumbs up" on my images. I know where you are talking about, and it is a really pretty area of the state.

Really nice images! I live in NW Montana and am always looking for patterns in fields, old farm equipment, barns, broad landscapes, etc. Right up my alley! ;-)

Don't you just love trespassing? Amish are special and admirable.

Amish may be many things, including being the nation's largest operators of inhumane and barbaric puppy mills, where these innocent animals live their lives in abject squalor, depraved conditions, horrific sanitation and are literally bred to death and discarded on a body heap when their breeding days are over. Purely disgusting practices.

Wow that's a Lake, I've never seen such motion made by the wind in a Lake before Wonderful Shots Tommy..Pg 3

Thanks for your kind words! Flathead Lake is the largest freshwater lake in the US west of the Mississippi, and so there is a lot of reach for the wind to blow over and create waves. Doesn't happen often, but when it does it's pretty amazing!

Pg.2 Whaler down. That's how we used to order a fish sandwich at Burger King.

Some folks may have seen these posted previously,
but I have no reservations about reposting them in
this particular topic, cuz I love that I can catch such
scenes pretty much by just falling out of bed ... and
acoarst, there will surely be some hogs who haven't
seen at least a few of them yet :-)

That's way too hot for me! It's been in the mid-60's around here today - almost sweater weather and red and gold leaves and the first fire in the wood stove. I love autumn!
