I could never live here but the brave Canadian Mounties used this as a supply base for the winters.
having never been a Mountie, but having slept in small shacks, I can attest that it sure beats sleeping in the rain.

I don't know about the Chilkoot Trail. It's on the train ride in Skagway.
So it's somewhere near Fraser in the White Pass.
I've taken that train 5 or 6 times and never spotted this cabin. I'll look for it specifically next summer.
