Maybe, not sure. It is really peak time around here. Just never know - up at the higher elevations there's lots of color right now.

I really don't mean to sound like a nervous Nellie, Rowedean, but the evening news is overflowing lately with stories of bad consequences for girls who venture out alone. Want you to share lots more photos. At least carry bear spray.

Thanks for your kind thoughts. The only thing I do worry about here in Gunnison, CO is BEARS. We had one on our campground -where we have a park motel - recently. One of our neighbors even got a video. The Department of Wildlife came out and put in a bear trap - if they try to get the bait - they get sprayed with bear spray. Didn't get one here. But, I DO carry bear spray - even on a walk in my neighborhood in Colorado Springs.
