A few days ago someone on here mentioned that you could do selective color in Lightroom, so I finally ventured forth and tried it. I still need to work at it to get rid of the light color smudges on some photos, but what fun!
BTW, Thanks to OP of the previous post!

Thanks, Mike! High praise from someone who is a much better photographer than I am!

You can also paint new colors with PSE; I use v.14, but I assume the later versions had the capability.

Thanks - my next hurdle will be learning how to use the adjustment brush tools both in LR and PS. I have an old version of PSE that I just downloaded from a disk that came with a Wacom tablet I've never used - another tool I may or may not use. I'll have to peek into the PSE program and see if there's something there that's not included with LR, my go-to program right now.

It was surprisingly easy, just a matter of sliding the color sliders in LR to the left to turn everything bw except the color I wanted to highlight, which I pegged to the right. I googled "selective color lightroom" to find a tutorial on it. I guess you could do the reverse and leave everything in color except one color by sliding just that color to the left.
