I had a Nikon FE that took great pictures but it was so cheap that Nikon stopped making them so they could sell the more expensive cameras. Now I have a vintage Nikon D70s with an 18-200 VR II lens that I love.

camerapapi, Thank you! Yes, by far and away my favorite slide film. Kodak, with Kodachrome slide film and Tech Pan 2415 B&W had the best films of the day.

karno, Thank you! Maligne lake comes to mind, but I don't recall with certainty anymore.

Stan, Thank you! Yes, I did scan these slides with an Epson V550 scanner.
