Very nice. are we looking at both black and white rhinos? How are they told apart? What about the one that's mostly white with a lot of black spots?

3,4,5 and 7 are black Rhinos and the rest are white Rhinos. Black Rhinos have a narrow tip at the end of their mouth whereby white Rhinos have a wide mouth.

This is the only way to shoot a rhino. Great shots

Did you see any with their horns cut off? That seems to be the new trend to deter poaching. If done right (by experts), it doesn’t hurt the animal. The horn grows back in a few years and they have to repeat the process.

Magnificent looking animals. To bad how they are needlessly killed for the horn.

srodday,

We saw at least 24 different Rhinos in wild at different parks in Kenya during out current trip but did not see a single Rhinos with horns cut off but yes, we did see about 5 to 6 Rhinos at the Rhino Sanctuary with their horns cut off.
