very interesting. If it were mine I think I might put a fish in it.

Interesting splish splash.

Good idea. Perhaps worth trying but it will scare the fish to death!

Been looking into this for myself just this morning. Looks like you got the splash down now just add some color.

A little more color this time. What do you think?

Perfect timing and a great shot! Mind sharing how you did it?

I did not do anything that has not been tried and shown on YouTube many times. I use a laser beam detector to trigger the flash units and a home made water dripper that I can adjust... plus a lot of patience. Thank you for your comment.

Great Capture! That’s what you call “In a Split, Split, Split Second!!”

With the flash units set at their lowest level (1/32) you can obtain speeds of 25,000th of a second or faster. Thank you for your input.

That is wonderful. This wasn't easy, I've tried it and know how hard it is to get it perfect like you did. Wish you would include lens and camera settings, too. l

Thank you. The camera and lens settings are probably irrelevant since the timing and exposure are determined by a laser beam detector providing the exact delay for the flash units to fire. Nevertheless, the camera is a Nikon D7200, exposure is full 2 seconds and the lens is a Nikon Micro 105 mm. The drop of water starts at 26" above the water surface with a the flash unit delayed for 367 milliseconds. All of the action takes place in complete darkness. Thanks again for your interest.
