headed there on Sept 26 for 3.5 days; reading all kinds of tips on Google sites by workshop providers and others with experience. sunrise is strongly recommended for several of
the spots; did you attempt to be at any of the sites for sunrise ( or sunset ) ? I'm dreading the crowds I may face because of the timing; has anyone else gone there during peak
fall color times and found the crowds daunting ? an inter-active weather site indicates the fall colors will not peak until about the 3rd week of Oct: anyone out there think differently ?

Great photos. I’m hoping to capture some of those same spots in the Tetons this week.

We were on a tour so no opportunity for sunrise photos except where we stayed overnight. It was crowded but no major impact on photography or enjoying the sites. You may not need a tripod. I didn't have one and there was no problem.

I assume sunrise is preferred because the Tetons form a huge wall of mountains to the West. Base to peaks is visible from highway. Spectacular!
